How GAM Modernizes the Casino Floor
As shown below, the Positron GAM solution is deployed between the SAS Gateways / G2S Servers and the EGMs, converting the existing copper pairs into a Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure. The GAM-24-M connects over the existing copper wiring to GAM-16-E or GAM-8-E bank switches, which provide Gigabit Ethernet connectivity to the EGMs. This approach uses the same GAM technology already deployed in hotels, MDUs, hospitals, manufacturing, and other environments where installing new structured cabling is costly or impractical.
