Turning Existing Copper into Managed Connectivity at Samaritan Village
Alyrica used Positron Access Solutions’ GAM over existing twisted-pair infrastructure to deliver managed connectivity across an 84-unit, eight-building apartment community in Corvallis, Oregon - avoiding a full property rewire and saving more than $200,000.
Hawaiian Monarch Delivers Symmetrical Gigabit Connectivity
The Hawaiian Monarch is a 546-unit condominium and hotel property located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Faced with aging infrastructure, growing resident bandwidth demands, and the high cost of a traditional fiber retrofit, Xiber sought a faster and more cost-effective way to modernize connectivity throughout the property.
Positron Delivers Reliable Guestroom Connectivity at Buena Vista Suites
Partnering with Positron Access Solutions, NUVISION SOLUTIONS LLC leveraged Positron’s Gigabit Any Media (GAM) platform to deploy a high-speed broadband solution by transforming the property’s existing in-wall wiring into a Gigabit Ethernet network, achieving full deployment in days rather than months.
NUVISION and Positron partner to transform a legacy multi-building site into a fully connected community
Residents at a legacy 400-unit multifamily community building required reliable, high-speed Internet access. The properties were built over 75 years ago and their infrastructure was not suitable for a traditional fiber-to-the-unit upgrade, making such an approach cost-prohibitive and highly disruptive.
NUVISION and Positron transform a legacy multi-building
Partnering with Positron Access Solutions, NUVISION SOLUTIONS LLC leveraged Positron’s Gigabit Any Media (GAM) platform to deploy a high-speed broadband solution by transforming the property’s existing in-wall wiring into a Gigabit Ethernet network, achieving full deployment in days rather than months.
Cambium Networks – Lenox Cove Appartments
A solution based on the Positron G.hn Access Multiplexer (GAM) and Cambium Networks indoor Wi-Fi access points enabled WorldVue to deliver a coax infrastructure solution on time to meet the residents’ expectations.
Cambium Networks – Affordable Suites Hotels
With reliable technology from Cambium Networks and Positron, system integrator like World Cinema can design solutions that deliver efficiencies from day 1 and can continue to evolve as needed to support security and smart building initiatives.
Aeronet and The GAM-24-M
Aeronet has implemented the GAM-24-M at a major shopping mall in Puerto Rico to cost effectively increase the bandwidth nearly tenfold and provide the modern services required in today’s business environment.
Solution Briefs
Accelerating Digital Equity Nationwide
High speed broadband access is now more than ever a fundamental need for remote learning and tele-working, video streaming, entertainment and video conferencing especially with multiple users in the same household.
GAM Solution Brief
Positron’s G.hn technology provides managed non-blocking symmetrical Gigabit bandwidth services to subscribers over existing telephone wire or coaxial cable on extended distances, at a lower cost and with reduced complexity compared with G.fast.
Extending Gigabit Fiber services to Every Door without installing fiber to the door
Positron’s G.hn Access Multiplexer (GAM) can extend your fiber services to every door of an MDU/MTU over the existing telephone pairs or coaxial cable to deliver Gigabit broadband. The Positron GAM delivers symmetrical Gigabit broadband without the need to install fiber to every door.
Last Mile Bandwidth Enhancement
As published in Broadband Communities: Positron’s BRX line amplifiers double the serving area on long copper loops where fiber is not cost effective. Years of development and thousands of units in operation at 200 carriers has resulted in a very robust reliable solution that has significant placement flexibility and operates on line current.
RDOF Cost Reduction & Deployment Simplification
With the advent of “fiber along the road” to serve many homes in rural areas, it is now possible to extend Gigabit Services to each home without disruptive construction work, to bring fiber to the home, and the cost to extend fiber into the home.
BRX Solution Brief
While subscribers in many urban areas have access to 50-100 Mbps services or higher this is not the case in suburban and rural markets where subscribers cannot get higher speeds and are unable to access more advanced services and applications. Regulators are setting new targets for broadband access.
